Wandering

I love the look of this front yard that I pass on my morning walks. Our summers are getting hotter and dryer and removing the parched grass seems a good idea.


The swamp is showing its first signs of leaf turning, alas.


I stopped at the pond with the notion I’d photograph the ducks but the cloud reflection on the water was intriguing.


Later I drove into the countryside to check out the auction and found nothing of interest. I love the flatbed arrangement these horses' Mennonite owner created, ostensibly to haul away all sorts of big tools and machinery. That should do it.
