Fake Food Bonanza

It was years ago that I first I saw in a store window a perfect plate of artificial spaghetti and sauce with a fork suspended overhead.

Life would have been simpler if I had bought the thing then and there but I didn't and it quickly disappeared with no replacement to be found. I was left for years with an itch I couldn't scratch, at least until I could find another.

At last, I found one on EBay and here it is.



It looks good with some of my other finds.





Am I done? Well perhaps, although I was thinking a three-tiered wedding cake would be a nice addition.

I'm waiting for a chilled hand to emerge, clutching a begging bowl.

Buddhas's Test

This is Buddha last November, serenely presiding over the pond.
